Care notes and sources
Begin with bright indirect light, protect from cold drafts and allow the potting mix to dry slightly between waterings. Use a draining nursery pot; remove it to water, drain fully and protect the floor.
ASPCA lists parlor palm as non-toxic to cats and dogs. Discourage chewing, stabilize the vessel and avoid contact with fruit sap.
